Here's a picture of the new partial-birth abortion ban being signed into law. What's wrong with this picture?
NARAL Pro-Choice America
Anybody?

Other than the fact that there are no women there?
Well, that was it, really.
What a goof. You'd think that if you were going to launch the opening salvo in the War on Women, you'd at least have a woman there, so that it didn't totally look like sexism. But then, this is the GOP, and they're not exactly diversity-friendly, are they?

Please, legalities are not the issue, common sense would show that destroying a fertilized single cell that will soon turn out to be a human being is killing that soon-to-be human being while it is at it's most helpless state. You are trying to tell me that a fertilized cell is non-existant when abortion comes into play?
Tell ya what. Since you believe that all it takes is a few cells to be human, then surely you won't mind if we collect one or two of your neurons and destroy the rest of your brain? We'll even leave you all your body cells.
If a few cells aren't good enough for you, though, why would they be good enough for anybody else?

Although contreceptives are are good in the sense of reducing abortions, they shouldn't be needed for the most part if only sex occurred after marriage. When the two married would be bonded so closely that a child would probably be great.
Um, I need them in my marriage.
What, you think being married suddenly means that two people have the financial wherewithal to support children - and without BC, we're talking a lot of children - when they didn't have it before?
I know it sounds outrageous, but it is possible to not want to have kids, or to not want them until later. Abstinence just isn't an option, nor should it have to be for married people. (Or unmarried people, for that matter. Abstinence just doesn't work at preventing pregnancy.)

I'm only 15 and sorry for saying that, but my opinion stays the same on abortion.
Then you should be totally pro-birth control, right? After all, it's better to prevent a baby than to abort one after the fact, don't you think?
What I can't abide or understand are the people who oppose both BC and abortion. That just doesn't make any sense.
