Re: Context and accuracy
Yes Trixie,
Ken is fast becoming a master at breaking forum rules. He also, seems to understand his inability to discuss according to the rules. That is why he has picked the "Free for All" forum. It is non-moderated.

Re: TO: ADMINASGARA
Ken,
You have demonstrated nothing of the sort from room moderators. In your closed Jonah thread, I was the only one posting as a moderator, I was the one that closed the thread. If you are not accusing me of the ad hominems or topic drift, then just who are you accusing?
One of the forum rules involves debating in good faith. Issues that I feel break this rule are the continual editing of posts (removal of data), not addressing points made by your opponents, and refusal to supply support for assertions.
As for your
Lastly, I gave the skeptics what they wanted - lots of information to support Jonah. And judging by the string's closure I can at least conjecture that some wanted no more. Plus seeing as I demonstrated at least some skeptics did not examine it closely
You supplied plenty of assertions and when asked to supply citations and support for your assertions you refused. The thread was closed because it becomes impossible to debate on a post that changes before you can hit the reply button.
As far as some not examining your thread closely, the continual editing makes this statement ludicrous.
Believe me when I say that I am NOT whining that you are in the Free for All. It is a forum that you, very soon, would have been asked to limit yourself to any way. As for hindering intellectual freedom, at no time were you hindered from posting your opinion, you were, however, asked to support your assertions.
The lack of creationist moderation is no fault of Percy or EvC. Very few creationists are willing to step up to bat.
Now, before I get slammed for posting as Admin in the Free for All, I have one more little issue to discuss. When you reply to a particular post, use the little, red, reply arrow (lrra) at the bottom of that post, NOT the big reply button at the bottom of the page. The lrra leaves an audit trail thru a string of who replied to whom. Many members receive email notification of replies to their posts, and do not check otherwise. This just makes it easier to follow a thread when several people might be replying to several different posts.
Have a good day Ken

Re: sunlight
gee...no use of little red arrow reply button
edit of post with no notice of what was changed
refusal to answer a simple question, in fact a refusal to even understand the question.
Ken, why does this not surprise me?

Re: to: Asgara
Except you are wrong in many ways Ken. I am no longer a mere moderator in all the forums...I now am an administrator for the whole board.
EvC does have a rather long online history of providing a spot where science and religion can both have a say. What isn't allowed here is blatant and deliberate flouting of the rules that you agreed to honor when you signed up here.
You have, in other posts, commented on the number of bannings and the ratio of evo to creo on that list. In the time that I've been here I've noticed that creationist posters tend to be given a lot more leeway than evos. I guess we expect evos to know better. A suspension isn't permanent. All it takes is an email to Admin stating that you will follow the guidelines. It is hardly the fault of EvC that after being given many chances and finally being suspended, that the creo side rarely avails themselves of that option.
I am inclined to agree with WJ that you seem to be looking for a suspension. The passive aggressive manner in which you refuse to listen to any suggestions or warnings is what brings me to this conclusion.
At this point in time, I'm not going to give you the satisfaction. I will let you dig your own grave. I will not be a party to your attempt at online martyrdom.

Is macroevolution a religion? Should we rename it evolutiontarianism?
A time honored tradition picked up from Ken, copying posts verbatim.
Ken,
I know this is the FFA and is essentially unmoderated, but I am going to step in anyway. If you truly want to make some kind of point on this forum I suggest that you actually attempt to discuss something. Battle of the Links is NOT an effective debating tool.
I am also going to suggest that your opponents in these pseudo-debates ask their simple, easily answered questions one more time and then ignore you until you answer. You have no need of their help in looking foolish for your cause, as even some of your fellow Christians and creationists have told you.
I will not suspend you, as I think you are the perfect poster boy for poor logic and ineffectual debating skills.
Rock On

Re: To: Lindum
Ken, this issue you have with continual editing of your posts has got to stop. It is impossible to carry on a coherent conversation with someone who is changing the post you are answering as you answer.
Believe me when I say that your opponent is NOT going away and their post will still be there, even if you take the time to say what you want to say the first time you post. This isn't a race and you have plenty of time to compose your answers.

Just to remind everyone...18 more posts left on this thread before closure. Wrap it up. If Ken wants to start it up in a new thread, he should petition me at asgara_queen@hotmail.com.

It's well past time for this thread to be closed down. Ken has permission to start a continuation thread or to reply if someone else starts one in the FFA.
