All you have to do is un-imagine that "boundary".
Putting Him in a larger enclosure than this Universe, one which encloses this universe, only delays our worry about what is outside His universe.
Which is really the same problem as "Who created God?"

I always thought the point of the trinity doctrine was that God could be "more than one thing": Jesus the material, God the transcendent.
Jesus here, God everywhere - at the same "time".
