Wow, Dan, God just gave me words for you. Holy crap!
You know, you did ask God, he told me that. He wants you to use that talent you have, the Dada, for him, to glorify him.
You can be at one with him, and still be Dan.
You know we draw in church, and express our prophetic thoughts, or Love for God through our art work.
I know this has relevance to you.

I was just making sure we were created in his image, thats all.
Oh, please! What a nonsense reply. And you still haven't answered my question.

Signature
My choice of signature was influenced by the way people were communicating on this forum.
I was surprised at the harshness from professed Christians.
So I chose that verse as a gentle reminder.
My fuse is actually very long.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.

Wow, Dan, God just gave me words for you.
Good to see he's got nothing better to do.
You know, you did ask God, he told me that.
Ask him for what?
If I did something, I'd kind of like to know what it was.

God is proud (gloryfied) through our good works.
God is only Love, and good. Anything that is bad, and you are relating it to God, you are mistaken.
We are created in his image, and act the same. If you want to learn about God, then search your own soul.
God created us, and gave us free will. Its like if you train your dog, and let him go off the leash, and he comes back to you, you get real happy, and share a bonding with your dog. If he doesn't come back what do you do? Thats what God does with us. He gets happy when we come back to him, and then we share a bonding, a Love.
Please, someone don't reply...oh so now we are like dogs?

Yea, I'm the tooth fairy.
Wouldn't nice to be free from that guilt of what you did?
Why do you feel guilty(not proud) anyway?

Re: Layers of crap
who mentioned guilt?
How can one be free of the ramifications of their actions? So if I rape and kill a woman - then pray to the christian godhead and it makes me feel good - that's ok?
Your truely is a sick sick religion.

It can't be God's fault!
riverrat writes:
For you its easy. I can't believe you were the one to accept it.
I must warn you, in order for this to work, you are going to have be honest, and maybe dwell on some of the deepest hurt in your life.
You see, some people can't accept the fact that God repeatedly fails people, through no fault of their own. There always has to be some other reason.
You were angry and hurt, that's why you stopped believing, you didn't pray in good faith that's why your prayers weren't answered, etc. It's the easy way out.
I'm a software developer by trade. In the industry, some of my colleagues suffer from similar disillusionment. When the system fails, they immediately tend to look for faults everywhere but in their own code. 'It's a network problem' they'll say, 'the database is corrupted' they'll argue. 8 times out of 10, the problem is in their own code. I learned ,from experience, to examine my code first before I start blaming others. I just wish more Christians could do the same.

Thats a horrible situation there in Columbia. There are many more like it around the world. What are you doing about it?
It also doesn't mean that God doesn't exist. If anything it proves his existance. All that is happening over there, is the direct result of man and his free will to choose. When the people stand up and rebel against all this evil, they will be free, just like we did some time ago. Just like we are helping Iraq to become now. What would you do if you lived there? I know I would die fighting for my freedom.
Why does everyone confuse man with God, then blame God?
Blame Eve, then Adam. We are one.
Imagine all the people living for today, then the world will be as one. hmph, we are one.
I hope in your next breath you don't say, well thats over there, and has nothing to do with me.

See that depends on an objective good/evil. If I am a iraqi and I think that (with the very limited information I have) the americans and british are invaders - if I try and kill them - that's good, right?

Re: Layers of crap
If you think thats the way it works, or if that was the way it works, then your right, its sick.
But what should happen, is if you do something wrong, you will pay for it regardless, plus carry around the guilt and hurt of what you did. If you accept Christ, and forgive others, then you can be free from the guilt, but you will still have to pay for what you did. If you also truely accept Christ, you would never do something like that again, and probaly do everything in your power to stop things like that from happening to someone esle.
Where do you get your crazy mis-conceptions about Christianity? Or are you just trying to be a pain?

By asking difficult questions?
OK - I don't do it again - but that woman is still dead isn't this? How does my feeling good about myself change that?
