I'm not one to complain, but am I seriously not allowed to post in the Big Bang threads over some crankyness? No warnings, no suspension, just total removal from those threads, as if I haven't debated in those threads well in the past? Even in that particular "moon" thread, disregarding the (some-what) cranky attitude (call it frustration towards someone who is mocking even the experts in the field - take a look at his reponses to cavediver) I still present a counter position and none of my posts are void of substance.Whatever you guys decide is fine, but that's some petty shit, Moose.- Oni[abe] I hope this was the right thread to bring this up. I don't know if we're allowed to chime in on this thread...But I find Dr. A's posts to all be worth reading. Especially when he's being a cynical asshole, because most of the time the people he's doing it to deserve it. But like Percy points out, he's very good at it and it's hard to get one over on him. This is why people complain, because he's so good at it that it comes off as him being a bully.But that's always the case...the weak complain about the strong to people with authority. Fair enough. I personally don't see it that way. I find his obnoxiousness warrented and directed at those who specifically deserve it - (For example, he and cavediver debated a bit recently in the Objective Reality thread and not once did he resort to that type of behavior) - just pointing that out.He gets suspended when he does go overboard, and personally I would hate to see him banned. As a fellow cynical ahole, I just thought I'd speak up on his behalf. But I do see your point, Mr. Jack.- Oni

Hi Omnivorous,I really, truly, am NOT gay-baiting. In anyway. I may have, admittedly, jumped on Rrhain's (questionable) sensitivity in the use of words like "gay" or "fag," which again, do NOT mean homosexual - I can't stress that enough - it has nothing to do with homosexuality. I say questionable, because for a liberal like him, who admits to watching shows like South Park, the Daily Show or Colbert, to pretend to not know these uses of the terms smells of bullshit.It has become a word like any other that used to have one meaning but has now changed, and I've explained this to him, so have others, including an admin. I have posted links to the definiton, videos to it being used the way I was using it, etc.To continue to accuse me of gay-baiting is to completely ignore these facts. Fair enough, but I wonder how you think I mean the analogy? Straggler said our arguments are sometimes funny. I figured he meant, the bashing Rrhain and I give each other. What I meant by my analogy is, often, that bashing is humorous at first, but ends up not being that amusing as time goes by and it gets too personal.Don't let Rrhain fool you with his whining, he knows he's as much at fault for instigating as I am. He just complained first, so here we are.
