An example, please.
The fossil record is used to construct phylogenies which are then used to detect mutations involved in disease.

All you gave me was some irrelevant rhetoric, not a practical use. What irrelevant rhetoric? How so? Specifics. How is that answer irrelevant? And how could it have been of no practical use when its use was built right into the answer? More of your reading comprehension problems.
God could have created life via a process of Darwinian evolution. Your god could have done no such thing since Darwinian evolution has nothing to do with creating life. Then again your god could have grown a propeller on his nose and flew around the room like Eleanor Roosevelt except being non-existent he couldn’t accomplish that either. But Mother Nature (what a woman!) could and did do all the above. She created life from star dust. She created evolution to animate the planet with it. And she created Eleanor Roosevelt with her well known tendency to fly. With nothing but natural processes - such a useful Mother Nature. With all the majik in the universe - such a useless god.Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.

Your last post was a bit confused. You're willing to say that living creatures evolved. You're fine with the, "known biological mechanisms" of evolution that you concede have a lot of practical uses. You even agree that birds evolved from dinosaurs. Is your problem with the, "practical use in applied science for the Darwinian interpretation of the history of life on earth" a dislike for the fact that birds evolved from dinosaurs because you can't make a quick buck off the fact that birds evolved from dinosaurs?

I didn't miss it. All you gave me was some irrelevant rhetoric, not a practical use. Try again. Ignoring the information by calling it "irrelevant rhetoric" shows you missed it.
God could have created life via a process of Darwinian evolution. ... Except the "process(es) of Darwinian evolution" don't create life, they just modify what is there.
... What does that tell us about "who we are"? See if you can figure that out here ... you have the relevant information. Call it an exercise in education. I asked you for an example of this (#1336) but, unsurprisingly, none was provided. It looks suspiciously like your claim is a result of some sort of delusion. The fossil record is used to construct phylogenies which are then used to detect mutations involved in disease. This is a direct application of evolution in applied science. Edited by Dredge, : No reason given.

Be specific - give me a specific example of how the neo-Darwinian explanation for the history of life on earth has provided a practical use in applied science.

Let us assume that your fantasy is actually true and that no one has or will provide you with what you would consider an adequate answer to your goalpost-shifting question. What does that mean to you? What significance does it hold in the grand debate?

Maybe if I did drink before reading your posts they would look a bit less inane?

I wonder what science fiction is like to somebody who actually believes in spooks and miracles. Apparently their version of science fiction involves things like gigantic geologic columns and swarms of Universal Common Ancestors and horrifying tales of self-replicating peptides.
