Would we listen anyway?
I just wanted to know something real quick.
Do you debate the Bible based on the assertion that it is the inspired Word Of God?
Or do you debate the Bible based on what it says?

Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Would you be loved
"So only those who believe as you do get a hearing? A REAL hearing? See, with one fell swoop you dismiss all who disagree. You aren't setting yourself up for much of anything but self-impossed ignorance."
My question to you is..... Do you want a REAL hearing?
You have set the recipient of your accusation up as a Red-Herring. As Christians we are simply giving you what is written in the Bible. We believe it, and at present you do not. We do not dismiss all who disagree. They dismiss themselves due to a lack of belief in what the Bible says. As for our "self-impossed" ignorance, as a Bible believing Christian, you are correct. We do not choose to stand on our own understanding of why we are here. We simply have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. We are not responsible for the condition of your hearts...... ours is simply to labor for the Lord, professing the love and salvation given to us in Christ Jesus. If you accept who he is and what he did for you (Biblically speaking) then he will work out the details of your own self imposed ignorance.
Do not be fooled...... you do not have any better answers for our existence on this earth than what is written in the Bible. The choice of what you believe in is only based on whether you can live with yourself once you have justified your own actions. And even then, you still have to resist the urge to question what happens when your earthly body ceases to breathe anymore.

Convenience?
Convenient in what way?
That God can and will deal with us all as individuals?
