Well, asking, "Are you the truth-teller?" doesn't work. The truth-teller will answer yes as will the liar. Asking, "Are you the liar?" doesn't work, either, because both will say no. You have to find something else in order to figure it out.
Dude, that's awesome! I'm gonna start praying to god to tell me what the other one would say if I asked him if he was god! I never thought of that... what a great way to put a final rest to these thorny theological issues.

Now THAT's REAL funky especially in liberal, humanistic America where the women are running the homes.
As opposed to?
What inherent in having a penis do you think makes men so great at running a family? Better than, say, two people in love working together in concert? You take a pretty dim view of marriage, if you reduce it to a game of master-slave.

I was talking about God intended for the man to be the leader
Leader/follower, master/slave, it's all different terms for the same power relationship, which to you is the same as husband/wife.
How can the man lead if the woman does not follow? If she follows her husband instead of leading herself, how is she not chattel?
The only conclusions I've leapt to are the ones that follow from your statements.

Paul urges husbands to love their wives. How is that a negative perspective on marriage?
And how does God love us? (Surely we should love our wives as God loves us?) By controlling us and being the master of our destinies? Or rather, from a position of non-interference where free will (and therefore the freedom to love) are preserved?
I don't even believe in God and yet I see that my position on marriage - a meeting of equals, a sharing of destiny, a love that can only exist where the freedom to love or not love is preserved - is far better supported by the bible than a simplistic idea of "man lead, woman follow".

As I recall, the study is bogus - as many people gained weight at death as lost it. Much more likely, therefore, that we're talking about inaccuracy in the scale, not a material weight of souls.
After all, if souls have mass, then they must be made of matter. And if so, what are souls made of? And why are they otherwise undetectable?
