Look, if you want to address the Bible, this is what's in it, the supernatural. If you can't deal with that, I suggest you go and debate about genes or something.
First, I deal with it just fine. Perhaps you simply do not understand that 'dealing with' something is not the same as uncritically swallowing it, and then baselessly promoting it as truth. Second, at issue is not only what is said, but also the textual transmission of those legends. If you can't deal with that, I suggest you go and debate about Grim's fairy-tales or something. I stand by the phrase. I stand by the characterizations of the absurdity of these bible stories, as well as the implied characterization of the superstitious author(s) who authored them. At the same time, I certainly acknowlege your right and responsibility to moderate these discussions. I have no problem bowing out of the forum if you find my "apparent harshness" inappropriate, and will do so with no hard feelings whatsoever. "generation" is often used not to refer to the litteral 'generation' (parent and offspring), but rather (as shown above) a type of people.
As shown above, your contrived reading barely reaches the threshhold of silly.

You come here with your feigned naive question (i.e., "What's the difference between Torah and the Christian Bible?"), and then presume to inform us about the Septuagint Vorlage - although you badly screw up the presentation. Personally, I think your trolling, and doing a pathetically poor job of it.
