Matthew 24:35 - Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
The Bible: Translated in over 2,200 languages. Over 40 million copies of the Bible distributed in 1998 alone and over 585 million bible selections printed. Billions of Bibles have sold and no writing compares. Since numbers do not lie, such statistics remain consistent with the prophecy above.
If Christianity was an ancient, hidden religion that one has dug up or forgotten, then one may deem this prophecy invalid. But one cannot deny the incredible influence of the words of Christ. It was an outrageous prophecy to claim in his day. During his time, historical documentation was at an infant stage. There was no printing press or internet, yet his words still
live on.
If you still deny the validity of this prophecy, I suggest you attempt a little experiment. Roam your home city and neighboring cities for 3 years and draw a crowd of devoted followers(that are willing to submit their entire lives to your cause). Do it with no generating income, humble clothing, and limited supplies. Does common sense indicate that your words will last 2000 years, and make disciples of billions?
Just my 2 cents.
