You do know that the Oregon was an Indiana Class Battle ship and the ratio of it's length to beam is not 6-1 (351ft length by 69ft beam), and in addition that it is NOT made of wood or designed based on the Biblical Ark fable?

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

You do understand that all you have presented is unsupported assertions and word salad.

You claim...

Portillo writes:

It was fully large enough to carry its cargo.

... yet you never provide, and no flood supporter has ever provided, a list of exactly what the cargo was.

Do you see how silly it is to claim that it could carry its cargo when no one even knows what that cargo was?

You also repeat the claim that ...

Portillo writes:

Korean naval experts did a study on the ark and concluded that the ark could float.

... which is as silly as the former claim even IF such a study was really done.

Where is the study? Bring the study and the calculations so others can check their work?

Just like your retelling of the Amish School house shooting, this is yet another example of the Christian Cult of ********* just making shit up.

Have you read Kon Tiki? Do you know the chronology of Heyerdahl's voyages?

You need to learn to check what the teachers and pastors and ministers tell you because they far too often just make shit up.

But that is not a swear word but an honest assessment of what both of those posts contained.

You do understand that I was trying to be polite and not have to tell you that both your Amish School House story and your Heyerdahl contained out and out lies concocted by some preacher who understood that folk like you, Creationists and believers in nonsense like the Flood will accept the tale because you value Testimony over honesty.

Since the ministers and pastors and brothers and saints lie to you about really easy to check stuff like the Heyerdahl story, how can you possibly believe the stuff they sell you that is not easy to check?

Yup, but the supposed suicide letter is pure fabrication just like Heyerdahl reading Genesis and suddenly discovering pitch.

If it is impossible to say what the design was then it's impossible to say it would even float; but since the Biblical Flood never happened it doesn't much matter anyway.

YOU may not have an explanation for either Stonehenge or the Easter Island moai but that does not mean the rest of us don't understand how they were built.

Re: Not enough room.
And cows are clean animals so there were fourteen of them suckers, 26,600 cubic feet of storage just for cows.

Re: Not enough room.
And as jar pointed out, there are 7 cows.

Fourteen cows, male and female remember.

'Course God cudda told Noah take one bull and six heifers if he'd thought it out.

Summary
The Biblical Flood as described in the kinda merged collection of flood myths in Genesis 6&7 never happened and so discussion of whether the the Ark would float is about as reasonable as discussing how the Millennium Falcon made the Kessel Run in "less than twelve parsecs".

It can be fun but when dealing with fantasy like the Biblical Flood and the Ark most anything is possible.
