"Muslims" is (or are) not a race! Well like anyone from the middle east. I am not really racists against them, but cautious, because I know some of their beliefs don't align with mine. Still I don't hold it against them.

"bluescat48" writes: I agree, but much of the problem is that the most vocal members of any group tends to agree with what the perceived ideology, preferences & persuasions that the the group is alleged to have.Obviously one does not hear a quiet Fundie, Fascist, Communist, White, Black, Agnostic, Atheist, Evolutionist, Car Salesman, etc. Just the vocal who tend to be radical in their views. Yea sure, but still why hate the person? One thing that happened to me when I developed a relationship with what I feel to be God, He showed me, that if He can love me, then He can love anyone. He totally understands why and how someone comes to a particular place in life, and having a certain belief. I believe He doesn't hold it against us, and I think neither should we. It's a sign of Love. You are hating a person because of the life they had to go through, and the intelligence they possess. That's how wars start. hating them pushes them away, and then conversation, or exchange of information can never take place, where someone may actually learn that they are wrong, and you could learn from each other. Of course some people will never change, but I still don't hold it against them personally. I look at them as victims, with the outside remote chance that I am actually the victim.

Could you please stop talking? You started out denying you're a racist. Then you began sarcastically admitting you're a racist. Now, you're inadvertently confirming you're a racist. troll. You are so eager to jump down my throat, you missed the part where I said I don't act on any feelings I may have developed because of past relationships and instances. I still give every human being the same fair chance to show me they are not like their stereotypes, and are just people, like you and me., well maybe just me. I have to explain to them that the difference between Chinese and Vietnamese is like the difference between English and Italian. No you don't have to explain that to me, since you missed every point I've made.
The first step towards any recovery is to truly be honest with yourself. Denying it won't do it. Sarcastically admitting it won't do it either. I am honest. I do have racist feelings, but like I said, I don't act on them, or treat people in a racist way. We can't help it, like oni so graciously explained, and you just admitted to. I still give people a fair chance, just like I give you a fair chance, over and over again. You keep disappointing though. You need to understand this, and stop calling people names. Your arguments lose validity, and it is just plain annoying. I believe there is a fairly smart person under all that bullshit of yours.

No you dumb nigga, dad's don't run around saying how bad the word "son" is, and that no-one should be using it. It is absolutely a double standard. My black friends used to say to me all the time "nigga please" but God forbid I said it to them. It was like them telling me, we accept you, but you still can't use that word. The word is bad, and we use it all the time, but you still can't use it. I just take it as it being the times we live in. We are in a transition. Years of oppression and slavery caused it. But I really just feel that more of an effort should be made by black culture to drop the word entirely. Just come up with another word. Oh yea, they used to call me cracka, lol, or the great white hope, cause we played basketball all the time together. P.S. I'm still trying to figure when Chris Rock went from being anigga, to being a black person, because early in his career, he seemed very racist to me, and more likely to call himself a nigga. P.S. #2nigga, nigger, or niggra(from blazing saddles) are all words a white person should not say to a group of black people in a dark alley in Harlem. You can thank me later. If anything, the word cracka is not derogatory at all. Ask yourself this question. If there is a scene where there are 2 persons in the picture. Person A is holding a whip whipping the back of person B whose crying begging for mercy while his back is bleeding from the whip, and you absolutely have to pick to be one of the 2 people in the picture, would you rather be person A or person B? If anything, being called a cracka is an honor because you don't have to endure any pain. And don't even try to lie that you'd rather be person B, because nobody in his right mind would want to be whipped. Added by edit. You might be a special case, however... Edited by Taz, : No reason given.

Yea sure, but still why hate the person? I never said hate the person. What I am saying is that the vocal radicals are the ones that one hears and in many cases they are the ones spewing the hate not the other way around. There is no better love between 2 people than mutual respect for each other WT Young, 2002 Who gave anyone the authority to call me an authority on anything. WT Young, 1969 Since Evolution is only ~90% correct it should be thrown out and replaced by Creation which has even a lower % of correctness. W T Young, 2008

Neither has to endure any pain, because we're talking about throwing around insults, not being thrust back in time to choose between two roles in a historical scenario. Equating someone with an oppressor of the past is in no possible sense an honour - the fact that this oppressor didn't get whipped notwithstanding.

Not very politically correct, yes, but it's better than having to labor all day in the field while being treated worse than an animal. Equating someone with an oppressor of the past is in no possible sense an honour... We're still people. Conquerors like to boast and the conquered like to grumple. I've been called a cracka once that I can remember of by a friend. I threw it back at him. But I guess that doesn't count because we were just joking around.

It's not a double standard. I think it is... there's one standard for them, and one standard for us. They get to say it, and we don't.
There are certain privileges to being in a group of any kind. Your dad has the privilege to call you son, but any other person who uses that word to you would either mean they're much older than you or they're using it as a derogatory term. I often jokingly say "make me a sandwich, woman" or "make me a sandwich, you whore" to my wife. And she'd respond with "make it yourself, you skank." This does not mean that you won't get a black eye if you ever call my wife a "whore".
Those are double standards too.
Black people have made it abundantly clear that the rest of us do not have the privilege to call any of them a "nigger" or "nigga". I've been called nigga by a black guy and have called a black guy nigga, with no problems whatsoever. Hell, there's even white gangster wannabes that get to use the word nigga. Its not as cut-n-dry as you're making it. And it seems the "rules" of usage are just made up on the fly as whoever is around sees fit.

? Was that him? In the intro to a song or something? I know I've heard that but I don't know if that was him. Looks like his style of writting. My fav KRS lyrics:
"The white man ain't the devil I promiseYou want to see the devil take a look at Clarence Thomas Now you're saying, "Who?" like you a owl Throw in the towel, the devil is Colin Powell You talk about being African and being black Colin Powell's black, but Libya he'll attack Libya's in Africa, but a black man will lead a black man, to fight against his homeland An accomplice to the devil is a devil too The devil is anti-human, who the hell are you? I lecture and rap without rehearsal I manifest as a black man but I'm universal" Wordddd - Oni

KRS One was one of my musical heroes as a kid. Same here, and still to this day with his political opinions.
The lyrics you quote - Recent stuff or from way back? I don't recognise them. Album: Sex and Violence, circa 1992. Song: Build and Destroy, the video. - Oni
