First he asked for a picture of the two "grooms."

Two grooms is a gay motif. A specifically gay decoration, yes?
Why is this so damn difficult to understand?
If you go down to city hall and get a license to sell cake then you damn well better let the public buy cake.
If someone wants to buy a political message ... that is something else entirely.

There is the dividing line.
Do the anti-discrimination laws recognize that dividing line?

We have the First Amendment. That trumps all.

We have a totally perverted screwed up First Amendment that now reflects Political Correctness which is the opposite of its original intent. But who cares, the revisionists have won, so be it.

Re: Muslim bakery says no to gay wedding cake
I don't think making their discrimination implicit instead of explicit would protect them from a lawsuit based on their discrimination.
Has it ever protected someone from a discrimination-based-on-race lawsuit?
The basis of the discrimination is more than apparent in the video; and I really think that's all that would be needed to bring a successful lawsuit.

That is proper.
This entire controversy is not about christian bakeries refusals to provide gay themed cake strewn with gay motifs. It is about their refusal to sell any kind of wedding cake to gays.

Until the courts or the people say otherwise the free speech right applies to every person, group of people, business, corporation, organization, club, everyone, everywhere.

Actually it's not. It's about their refusal to sell a wedding cake for the purpose of celebrating a gay wedding. They'd refuse it to their mothers or their heterosexual friends who wanted to buy it for them.

If the founders original intent was sacred and maintained then blacks would still be slaves and you, M'lady, would have no political rights at all.
One of most powerful things the founders did was make the Constitution pliable, changeable, because they, at least, understood that not every generation was going to see things exactly as they did.

They'd refuse it to their mothers or their heterosexual friends who wanted to buy it for them.
Since the video was a trap you cannot say this. You don't know. Right off the bat - gay decoration.
There was never any approach for a wedding cake, even stipulating it was for a gay wedding. There was only the request for an openly gay decorated, specifically gay motif, cake.
You cannot say whether this baker would have provided a wedding cake to a gay couple without the openly gay decoration since that option was never presented.
