I understood that Obama had MADE A SIMILAR EXECUTIVE ORDER TO TRUMP'S but nobody protested him. SIMILAR EXECUTIVE ORDER. You are bringing in all kinds of other things that do not address this point. You haven't given me any reason to consider any other issue.
Similar to the effect of banning people from different countries?
Yes.
But what is the difference?
Modulus quoting The State of Washington in Court writes:
In previous cases an injunction was given even BEFORE the immigration orders went into effect, and we have people currently suffering under the Order which is in effect.

Well, that seems like a pretty important difference.
Is this true?
When Obama made the similar order, was there a declaration of preparation and people were warned such a thing was going to go into effect at a certain date?
Then when Trump makes the similar order, he doesn't warn anyone, puts it into effect immediately and strands a whole ton of people who cannot return or make other arrangements?
If this is true, it seems like a very important difference.
Faith, did you not understand this difference?
Or, did you always understand such a thing and you just don't think that it is significant in anyway?

I certainly hope so. Beliefs are to be protected and the beliefs we most strongly disagree with deserve our strongest support.
Really? I'll start by sending a donation to the Flat Earth Society, and continue by showing up to the next neo-Nazi rally in this area with a swastika on my T-shirt.
Would you care to put that wonderful second sentence on its own thread and defend it against all comers?
I'd defend that statement of jars.
But it's probably best if he speaks for himself.
To me, jar's statements have to do with beliefs.
This things you're talking about... Flat Earth Society, neo-Nazi rallies... have to do with actions based upon those beliefs.
I fully side with you that these certain actions based upon those beliefs are rightfully denounced and fought against.
But I fully side with jar that the beliefs themselves should be protected and kept by anyone with the desire or will to keep them.
What if, tomorrow, those who hold such beliefs come up with some very beneficial actions that are good for everyone?
What if they come up with an idea that is only good for one person... but you are unable to come up with that idea for that one person?
Do you doom that single person to never get that benefit simply because you don't like a few ideas?
I, for one, am not willing to take your word for it that it's impossible for such beliefs to provide a pathway that has the potential to lead us towards other helpful, beneficial ideas.
Separate.
Beliefs are ideas.
Actions affect people.
Promote, develop and protect any and all beliefs (ideas) because who knows where they might lead?
Monitor and sanction and control actions because they have affects on other people.

Should I take that to mean that you strongly agree/disagree with him, and therefore his belief doesn't/does deserve your strongest support?
No.
It means that I strongly agree with him (or, at least, what I think he's saying) and therefore I strongly support his ability to hold such a belief.
Supporting someone having a belief is not the same thing as supporting that same belief.
I do not support the belief of the Flat Earth Society.
I do not support the belief of the Neo-Nazi's.
I do support the Flat Earth Society in their ability to hold their belief.
I do support the Neo-Nazi's in their ability to hold their belief.
I do not support the current actions of the Flat Earth Society that they take based upon their belief.
I do not support the current actions of the Neo-Nazi's that they take based upon their belief.
Let's take the "bolder" example a little further:
Neo-Nazi Belief: White people are better than all other people.
-I do not support this belief.
-I do support the Neo-Nazi's ability to have this belief and profess it.
Neo-Nazi Current actions: Kill all non-white people. Use policies or other "white collar" methods to harm non-white people.
-I do not support these actions.
Neo-Nazi Possible actions: Since white people are better, this Neo-Nazi group of white people is going to set an example for all others and build homes for all the homeless people, regardless of whether or not the homeless are black, white, or any other race.
-I would support this action.
-I would still not support their belief.
-I would still support their ability to hold their belief.
I hope that clears some things up?

My understanding is that I would have to upload an image to the Inter Nets and like to the URL.
Will a The Face Books pic do?
Yes, basically.
A Facebook pic might work.
Best option, though, is to create an account (yes, another one...) at a place like www.imgur.com
Hosting pictures for linking them at other sites is specifically what imgur.com is for.
It's built for it, and it will walk you through the steps and provide you with text you can copy/paste pretty much anywhere in order to link to your pictures.
Just remember that if you ever remove the picture from that site, your link (wherever it is) will be "broken" (go nowhere).
Generally, after a few weeks or months, this is 'as expected' by most web-surfers.
Good luck!
