Maybe you should've read the link I supplied where it said in the opening paragraph:
So Columbus wasn't trying to sail around the world?quote:

It is 9.05 pm Mike, and you been spanked, what was that about, more of your 'humour'?
If beelzebub Dan stopped swinging his offensive flesh tool we could all narrate the proposition of nasty spammers. Play nice now Mike please. Brian.

You missed the rest of it. Just as we accomplish what was prophecy, the other prophecies are all coming true at the same time. There is nothing we could do to fulfill this. I didn't put all the suplies together to build the temple. Israel certainly wasn't strong enough to defeat its enemies in 1948 and 1967. Yet they are all happening at the same time.
Well I hate to leave but I'm off with the family for the weekend. Pick it up on Monday.

Of course I don't think you mean any harm, then again Torquemada thought he was doing good too!
It appeared that Dan had no idea what you were on about hence his '????', if it is a private joke, and I haven't got it, then I apologise. AdminBrian.

In fairness, I must reserve comment on these additional prophecies you wish to discuss since I cannot access any online Bible reference sites through my company's internet content filter. I've been working from memory up until now, and I'll need a chance to review the actual texts with context in a few translations. You missed the rest of it. Just as we accomplish what was prophecy, the other prophecies are all coming true at the same time. Alas, it seems I'll have plenty of opportunity between now and Monday when we can resume. Hope you have a lovely weekend, keith63! (Sorta reminds me of the sheepdog and the coyote from Looney Tunes clocking out after a hard day's work trying to mercilessly thwart eachother)

World round? Well, maybe not everyone. But those who disagreed with Columbus's plans knew it but they also had a pretty good idea of how big it was which meant that the ocean voyage that Columbus was planning was twice as long as he thought it was.
That turned out to be true but he lucked out by running into some unexpected land.

Miraculous prediction, as in biblical prophecy, does not necessarily violate scientific law, but it does involve the acquiring of knowledge in a manner that has never been verified. Nor has science given us a theoretically sound framework to explain how such prophecy might reasonably occur. To the extent that mediums have been competently investigated, in the past as well as the present, the claim of miraculous prophecy has always proven false or unconvincing. Thus, we have neither the theoretical groundwork nor a single, proven example of miraculous prophecy.
We must ask which is more probable, that a few individuals in the Mideast had special powers during biblical times, men associated with a particular religious cult, or that the usual, faulty claims, lies, misunderstandings and later manipulations of history have occurred. Clearly, the odds are heavily in favor of the latter. Any proof of miraculous prophecy must be so strong, so extraordinary, as to make the latter the less likely case. Not only is such proof lacking, but in many cases we have good evidence that biblical "prophecies" were written down after the event in question! There is also good evidence that many of the events and characteristics attributed to Jesus have been lifted from the Old Testament by New Testament authors! Thus, it is hardly surprising that there are some parallels between the Old Testament and the Jesus story. This jurisdiction goes for pretty much every prophecy in the Bible.
