Racist?

Like me with different linages, he sounds like the prototypical, red-blooded, mom and apple pie American mongrel. We could call him a "nigger" for short, but that moniker is already taken.How about a "rennie"? He's a damn no good amerkan rennie, that's what he is. Then we could form the National Association of Societies for Care of American Rennies. NASCAR for short.

Well, we need to consider the following. The English that came to this country were themselves a mongrelation of French, Anglo, Saxon, German, Italian, Oriental, Russian, and others. And the French component of that mongrelation was itself a mongrelation of English, Italian, Oriental, German, African, Semitic, Tibetan, and others. And the German component of that was a mongrelation and so forth. Even the Native American population before the rest of us got here to really ball things up was a mongrelation of Asian, Oriental, Aztec, Polynesian, with some Norse thrown in there from somewhere.The reason for this is that curious aspect of human psychology that oversees such things. We like to screw a lot.But I digress. The upshot being that the entire population of the US, 100%, is an amalgamation of mongrelated lineages and as such we are all entitled to protected minority status. I went to my mail box but did not find my Minority Citizen Compensation check. I'll look again tomorrow.

There are still so many racists out there and the Tea Parties have indeed attracted quite a few, but, if the two of you are so naive as to think the liberal camp is immune to perpetrating such dirty tricks, just as the conservative camp does, then I have a couple of really nice, though pricey, tin hats I can sell you.

Coyote's point is that you may have seen just that on the tapes without realizing it.While we must acknowledge that "bona fide" racists turn out at Tea Party rallies there is no way to tell if any are dirty trick artists or not, or even political liberals with a racist bent. Cannot say that any could be tricksters. But the point is that such dirty tricks are not the exclusive purview of the right. This is an excellent point. Even given a "plant" or three the numbers of racists openly vocal at these public Tea Parties is significant. KKK and Nazi rallies don't get much national publicity these days so a Tea Party rally may be seen as the way onto the public stage. Has the Tea Party movement been co-opted by race-baiters?I know a number of people would rather think that the "right" is shadow-racist to begin with. We already know that the KKK and Nazi's are considered far right. The fact that open displays of racism have been tolerated and not put down during the rallies may lend some credence here. Though considering all political conservatives as racists is hyperbole (as were the "tinfoil hat" comments).Edited by AZPaul3, : added thought
