I'm for bias and bigotry if it means excluding criminals, jihadists and leftists/communists/ and people who poop on sidewalks.. You will likely see this again with emphasis on particular categories. Nothing new here though. We've worse stuff about you in some of our sig files. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door! We got a thousand points of light for the homeless man. We've got a kinder, gentler, machine gun hand. Neil Young, Rockin' in the Free World. Oh well. It's about culture, not race, but there is of course always enough overlap to confuse the poor leftists. No confusion. You are a bigot. Your words not mine. No, a bigot is a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance. I find it fascinating how similarly Faith, Laura Ingraham, and David Duke have presented their views on this subject this past week. Of the three folks, it is only Faith who has had the honesty to call herself a bigot. ABE: Spell Ms. Ingraham's name properly. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. I see that Laura Ingraham is complaining that she has been treated to the same PC smear campaign I've been talking about. So what else is new? Rolling on the floor laughing! You smeared yourself. You are a bigoted comrade leftist that cannot tolerate anyone who actually thinks rather than toeing the party line. And you are a bigoted idiot who cannot understand that her own remarks about leftists and immigrants she does not like, are simply intolerance. Tolerating intolerance is simply not possible. You are of course, free to be a bigot and to express your views. But you are not free to escape criticism for those views. And that is the truism you will never understand. But it is the essence of what free speech really means. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. And it is you Mr. NN, who do not understand and apparently never will. As usual, you exhibit not even the slightest amount of introspection. You exhibit the same mindless ranting behavior on every single topic you engage in here. You are the best cautionary tale here. If they are willing to learn and assimilate, that's the melting pot, but as long as they insist on maintaining their completely different principles they do not become Americans, or Canadians or whatever, may not even want to learn English. I call BS on this idea. By an large, when people come here with the intent of becoming citizens, if they are young enough and able, they do learn English. Older folks may not do that. What they don't do is drop their religion and other things about their culture. Nor is there any reason that they should. There is also nothing wrong with them wanting to get together with others folks like them. That is certainly what lots of white people do. And let's recall that your own exclusion list includes people who are leftists. As if being conservative or liberal was somehow part of the mandatory Amerian culture. You've basically given your entire game away. The layer of paint you put on top of your xenophobia and bigotry is exceedingly thin. Public education is not socialism. Interesting. I thought you despised public education. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Even where it seems to be designed to benefit all it takes from the richer to give to the poorer. Isn't that the case for all things that are paid for with federal tax dollars? Roads, bridges, Medicare? Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. No, roads and bridges are public works that benefit all of us collectively. Medicare is a complicated form of socialism that selectively benefits individuals. Go back and look at your claim Faith, which was that for even for things that benefit us collectively, there can be socialism which transfers wealth from rich to poor. How is insurance for all different from roads for all? You are not even making sense. Individuals drive on highways. Insurance is a way to collect risks into a common pool. How is giving tax benefits to company owners not socialism even if the transfer is from the public to individuals? You have not even tried to make a distinction. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given.
