but it can't hurt to overdose on Vitamin C.
Too much supplemental vitamin C can actually hurt
For adults, the recommended daily amount for vitamin C is 65 to 90 milligrams (mg) a day, and the upper limit is 2,000 mg a day. Although too much dietary vitamin C is unlikely to be harmful, megadoses of vitamin C supplements might cause:
Diarrhea
Nausea
Vomiting
Heartburn
Abdominal cramps
Headache
Insomnia
Remember, for most people, a healthy diet provides an adequate amount of vitamin C.

Re: A Question About Masks
I've read an alarming number of comments, on reddit mainly, saying everyone needs to literally stay indoors and that the act of going outside puts you at risk of contraction and death. Keep in mind, I am talking about just going outside. not going to the store. Not going to a restaurant. Not going to a concert. Just going outside your house. Is there ANY validity to this? I am struggling to see the rationale that this virus is just hanging around outside my house waiting for me to open the door to attack because if that is the case, the damn thing is already in my house. maybe I am an ignorant ass, but something tells me viruses don't just float around in invisible clouds OUTSIDE. Yes, I get that there is evidence that it can be aerosol and hang around in an enclosed space and thus the need to not share air with strangers. But the only way i see an issue with being outdoors is if you are in close proximity to someone and they cough or sneeze or touch you and you are within striking distance.

That was the first mistake. Reddit and Twitter as well are not reliable sources of information.
I completely agree. I wasn't using it as a source of information, just a place to discuss things in a lowbrow manner. It's just that I've seen it more than once so I was curious if it had any bearing in reality even though I was sure it did not. Also, I was challenged more than once, quite harshly I might add, for outlining what I thought was the sheer stupidity of the suggestion that equated to "the air will literally kill you. you are definitely going to get infected if you go outside and if you get infected, you'll surely die".
