- Using Jar's definitions of the terms; Christianity and Evolution are compatible.
What I haven't seen demonstrated is that both of these positions can't be true. Isn't it entirely possible, indeed common, for people two believe in two ideas that are contradictory? Isn't it entirely common for people to hold illogical or inconsistent religious beliefs?
Isn't that basically what it means to be religious, in fact? To hold beliefs that can't be supported, or indeed may even be contradicted, by reason and evidence?

Jar's belief is confused. He has not thought it through.
Do you say that just because he's maybe not consistent? Maybe he has thought it through, and doesn't find beleving in one thing because of the evidence and beliving another thing, in another way, against the evidence contradictory.
Religious belief isn't under an obligation to make sense.
