The sad part is I doubt she understood any of Mike's post. Based on her past behavior, which she exhibited next to no reading comprehension skill whatsoever, she will simply dismiss Mike's message as fuzzy words.

Worse than that... it's me on a good day. Check out the hilarious exchange of insults and digs starting from Message 1. My favourite bit is message 38 of that thread.
MrHambre writes:
Sylas is trying to be as recognizably Australian as the Sydney Opera House, seen in his latest mug shot wearing his pet Thylacine on his head. Ned looks like the Dalai Lama stuck in traffic.
Some of the comments are a bit out of date with avatar changes. Mine is due for change also, just as soon as I find a decent barber.
Added in edit. Nosy and I were so overcome by all this flattery that we have not changed our avatars since; but that happy state of affairs will not last forever. Yaro has changed since, but the new one still fits my comments on the meaning of "Yaro". This marks the end of my off-topic additions here; but the thread is now so dispersed as to be useless anyway.

From A fellow CHRISTIAN
Desdamona,
Before I say anything else I've noticed you assume I'm an atheist, or at least a non-Christian. Please remember I am a Christian. A Methodist(go ahead and get mad at that, I dare you ) but that's still Christian.
desdemented-I mean desdamona writes:
"Some of us christians don't stray from the holy bible ,and we sure don't attempt to add to God's word"
Interpreting God's Word and adding onto it are two different things. Please don't confuse the two.
desparate-I mean desdamona writes:
"evolution is a religion that cannot prove itself by science"
Evolution is not a religion, it's a SCIENTIFIC theory. (If you can't tell, the adjective 'scientific' may hint something to do with science)
Science is about making theories and observations, the scientists are the ones who decide whether or not things are proof, science does not attempt to prove anything. The theory of gravity is not a religion, nor is String Theory. So why is evolution any different?
desdeluded-I mean desdamona writes:
"It cannot be observed,it has no tests made for it,it cannot be verified, and it's not repeatable."
A natural 'test' occured during the Industrial Revolution.(please, PLEASE say you at least know what that is so I don't have to explain it!)
The tree bark became dark from the soot, and the butterflies that were white became more noticable to predators, while the originally less common dark butterflies began to be more common. Note that is Natural Selection and not Evolution, but Natural Selection is a part of the ToE.
desgruntled-I mean desdamona writes:
"You cannot pervert God's word to suit your faith in evolution."
I don't have faith in evolution, I have faith in God. But also, if ToE is a 'religion',according to you, then how can you pervert its words to suit your faith in Christianity?
desregarding-I mean desdamona writes:
"How much longer will it be until you are a full fledged evolutionist?"
'How much longer will it be until' you start making sense?! That makes it sound like some kind of plague. ITS JUST SCIENCE!!
Sorry about the quotes, had to have some fun because I just learned how to do the blue box.

Thread Link
That was pretty funny, especially Dan's comment about the head exploding. However, this is partly why I really don't think I should put a picture of myself as my avatar. The majority of pictures of me doing anything cool also involve spandex, hence the signature.
Now about your self portrait, while much more attractive than your other one, are you sure it's not too much exposure?

Re: There had to be a first!
Sorry,I just can't buy that. The bible can be understood very well, and there are no contradictions to those who really study it.
Darwin really did appear to contradict himself, but upon MUCH further reading he may not have.Anyway,to me and most people a circle is still round.A dime is flat and round.Who claims that God says the earth is flat? Just because there is a description of something that is easily mis-interpreted? Whose the one who takes the bible literally now?If you want to find fault in something bad enough, you will.

Re: There had to be a first!
Ok, I'll break my vow of silence.
If something is a circle, then it is round. However, if something is round, it does not necessarily have to be a circle.
If you can name one object in this world that is a circle but 3 dimensional, then you are smarter than all of us combined.
If something is spherical (3 dimensional), it absolutely cannot be described as a circle.
Get your definitions straight. English is my second language and I can still make that simple distinction.

First of all, the reason we were nitpicking the bible right down to the letter was because you claimed that the bible is absolutely 100% accurate, both scientifically and morally.
You have finally admitted that there are imperfections in your holy book. This is the first and greatest step you've taken to get away from your delusional state of mind.
Get this straight in your head. Nobody here is trying to get you to lose your faith. All we ask is you get your facts straight before making incredible claims on here. As a rule of thumb, be prepared to back up your claims with either credible sources or reasonable explanations everytime you make an assertion.

Re: There had to be a first!
Thank you for the lie's and twisting of words, but no thanks!
Did you know,Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777?
Did you know 52 of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies?
Did you know,Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law, would begin making law...an oligarchy...the rule of few over many?
Did you know that the very first Supreme Court Justice,John Jay,said,"Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers?
As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.
As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see on the wall, right above where the Supreme Court Judges sit,a display of the Ten Commandments.
James Madison, the fourth President, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves,to control ourselves,to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."
We can go on and on like this,I happen to know that America was founded on God,amen. Only God can make a nation free!
When they say one nation under God,they use to mean it!
When we say the land of the free,we don't mean free to fornicate, lie, steal or murder the unborn.
Do you know what the Geneva Bible is? It was the Bible that came with our ancestors to America.
God is first,amen.

The bible is first of all fact.It is 100% percent correct all the time, amen.See how you so easily mis-interpret everything you read?
I cannot ever claim that the bible is ever wrong because it is not.
When will you begin to show any credible claims made by credible people?

The Evolution church does need to really start caring about something, and soon because there is no way to prove that you have a time machine that takes you back in time, and can tell us all how it all went down,up and side-ways. GET REAL!
