The quote looks to me like it is truly informative rather than judgement. Spreading the word is important, this quote is part of that. Understand for one to judge another is wrong, (the splinter in your brother's eye reference) but I disagree in you saying this is a thought of judgement.Of course this quote may seem harsh but and should be said a lot differently but informing your brother about the afterlife is necessary.

Don't get me started on Catholicism, I was just confirmed in a Catholic Church...You don't have to apologize, if the person offended by the "Christian" cannot come to the realization that one (or every but one) Christian does not represent all Christians, then I wouldn't bother talking to them.Praying, Oops I mean asking Mary to "intercede" is wrong plain and simple. Talking to dead people usually doesn't work... I've been through this with my priest, my ccd teachers, etc... The problem with Catholicism is that they instead of looking towards the Bible it look towards the Pope and "Tradition", who time and time again has been proven not worthy of the title "Infallible"...Heres a list of things made up by Catholicism:Praying to Saints, people, Mary
