No. Are you lying for jeebus again?Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Must be the Jesuits. It was me. I put in a call to the Jesuit Army Hotline and let them know there was a protestant that needed to be snuffed.

There's plenty of reason to suspect that free speech that steps on some toes could be censored these days, or punished one way or another. But as a matter of fact I just discussed the situation with my coolheaded brother who said he thinks the drop in readers must be the effect of the election results since that's what everybody's been talking about over the last few days, and interest in my topics will pick up when that has been talked out. I think he's right. I'm relieved.

Yes, it is so much easier to run for political office as an atheist than as a christian these days.

That's good. You should listen to sane people more often instead of hurling abuse at them.

Lots of abuse was hurled on this topic, no question there, but not by me.
As for sane advice, please let me know when it shows up in a conversation at EvC because I wouldn't want to miss such a rare event. ABE: No interest in answering the irrelevant responses to this. I was talking about this discussion about my blog and about Houston, not the rest of the thread. And that latest message was my response to all the abuse that was hurled at me. And there was plenty of abuse hurled at me upthread as well. Funny you don't notice that. However, you ARE all idiots and the term was WELL deserved when I used it upthread, the only response possible to some of the absolutely stupidest stuff I've ever read. And abusive stuff as well. In retrospect, maybe we shoulda spent more effort on rigging the midterm elections and less on sabotaging the obscure blog of a complete nonentity. Still, there's always 2016. ALL HAIL SATAN!

In retrospect, maybe we shoulda spent more effort on rigging the midterm elections and less on sabotaging the obscure blog of a complete nonentity. Well its a delicate balance... The Jesuit Army can't engage in so much influence that everybody knows what they're up to, they can only do just enough so that the protestants are aware of their evil doings but nobody else can find evidence for it.

The world IS terrifying to those who understand what's going on. But that doesn't mean I'm terrified. I'm not. Frustrated though, depressed even, that I can't do much about it. Still, it's all a sign that Jesus' return can't be far off so in a way it's all a good thing.

Sure, there are scary things going on in the world - but a couple of guys who want to marry each other aren't as scary as the people who want to stop them.

I thought we were talking about the One/New World Order.
However, the idea that marriage applies to homosexuals is certainly one of the thousands of signs that the world is upside down and headed for disaster.

The world IS terrifying to those who understand what's going on. But that doesn't mean I'm terrified. I'm not. Yeah, think about that. You have constructed a terrifying world, and yet even you yourself are not terrified by it. Isn't that because you don't really believe in it? And this is what I've always observed with paranoid loonies. They promulgate a belief in their fantasy worlds, but they never behave as though they live in them. And to make this point, this is why I asked you if you were interested in a wager. I have met lots of people who have paranoid delusions. They declare that any minute now Obama will declare martial law, or take everyone's guns away, or Christianity will be declared illegal, or ... well, all this crazy stuff. And I ask them: what will you bet that this will happen within a year? Two years? Four? And none of them ever take their own end of the bet. They go about saying it will definitely happen any minute now, they can see all the signs, but ask them to put $100 on it, they run away. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.
