I disagree. One cannot equalise living in a land and calling it their historic homeland, as can the jews. Most all Arab states today never existed before..."
So you agree that the U.S. goverment should hand back all US territory to Native American tribes then? Or is 200 years enough "history" to claim it as your own?
In any case, for many Muslims or Arabs in the area it is also their "historic" homeland. They had lived in the area for over 1300 years before the creation of modern Israel.

unlike the modern Americans, Jews 'RETURNED' to their land, and never stole anyone's lands
So if Native Americans demanded, for "historical" reasons, to have North America "RETURNED" to their control, then can I assume that if you were a US citizen you would happily return to your ancestral home?
Edited by RickJB, : No reason given.

Like the natives - they [Palestinians] lost: the consolation is, they lost to the original owners - not invaders from Europe.
Muslims, by way of example, have lived there for at least 1300 years (if one defines Palestinians by this faith alone), and during that time had allowed Jews to live alongside them. They now find themsleves penned into settlements riddled with poverty.
You still haven't answered my question. Would you, as an American (I assume), hand over the control of the U.S. to Native American tribes? They were, after all, the original "owners". The parallels here are totally clear. Your consistent dodging of this question speaks volumes.

Of course I answered it.
Erm No you haven't. Again. It's a simple question - yes or no.
IAJ writes:
Jews returned to *THEIR* homeland.
Ok, so would you accept that Native Americans have a claim to control of their "homeland"?
IAJ writes:
Jews did not attack another people.
Neither did the Native Americans. Their lands were invaded by Europeans.
You really don't see what I'm getting at here do you? If you don't accept that the U.S. must be handed back to Native American tribes then how can you expect Palestinians to surrender all control of their homes to Jews? It's a clear double-standard.
It's a very simple question. Would you happily hand over control of the U.S. to Native American tribes who were there before European settlers? Yes or no, no fudging.

Its hardly a question, leave aside being simple........
Nice rant, but still no answer!
Now please answer the question. Do you think that Native Americans should have America back?
I can't make it any easier for you. YES or NO?
