Aside from being a christian anti-abortionist doctor, there doesn't seem to be much there there, imho. Some of the (racist) base won't be attracted even if he is an "oreo" ...
Watched the Rachel Maddow show (Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC | Watch Rachel Maddow Live) and it appears there is a massive primary vote in April that will effectively decide the candidate, so that is the timeline.
They also talked about Trumpy being an entertainer that only lasts as long as he keeps the act "fresh" and that he is droopping now.
Fiorina won't appeal to the mysogenistas base, and she doesn't have the wild crazy of Palin.
So that gets down to Rubio? who said on TV that being a senator is not his dream job ... (and he has the worst voting record in the senate of all contestants).
Then we have the whole new circus of House Speaker elections coming up ... with the house republicans divide ???

Things Lindsey Graham Doesn't Know
Having voted against federal aid for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, he and a slew of other Republicans from South Carolina now want federal aid 'cos of the floods in S.C.
Asked to explain why he voted against disaster relief after Hurricane Sandy, he says that he has no idea, explaining "I'm all for helping the people in New Jersey. I don't really remember me voting that way".
The website for his Presidential run describes him as "A conservative who gets things done". Perhaps they should add "... but has no idea why he does them".

And in other news, El Chapo, an escaped Mexican Drug lord, put a 100 Million Dollar bounty on Trumps head (dead or alive). I guess he really don't like Trump. I am sure that the bounty will go uncollected.

Ben Carson could be 'real' black president
Anyone see this Twitter stupidity by Rupert Murdoch?
Rupert Murdoch: Ben Carson would be a 'real black president'
Not exactly sure what he is claiming by using the word 'real'. Of course he backtracked and apologized in a later tweet.
Just proves what I always thought. You can't spell 'Twitter' without 'twit'.

It's a right wing dog whistle.
Read comment threads on Fox News stories, and you'll soon run into two tropes: Obama is stupid because he's black, and he really isn't black because he's mocha.
I think Murdoch meant the latter, whether he realized just how clearly he was saying it or not.

And as Trump and Murdoch both prove, you can be smart enough to make a pile of money but still be an idiot in other areas.

Things Mike Huckabee Is Apparently Ambivalent About
He called for a boycott of Doritos because of their special edition of rainbow-colored Doritos, the proceeds of which are to be given to the It Gets Better charity, an organization devoted to dissuading gay teenagers from killing themselves.
One might have thought that even a conservative Christian might have been in favor of that. After all, if they kill themselves they can't be cured by prayer and find Jesus.
But that aside, the strange thing is that when liberals suggested boycotting Chick-Fil-A, he denounced this as "economic terrorism".

Can't see a fundy buying into that theory.
At this point, it is too late to stop the contribution to 'It gets better', so perhaps it is okay now to go ahead and spread hate, now that the good has been accomplished.

Re: Things Mike Huckabee Is Apparently Ambivalent About
I once loathed Barney, due to forced exposure as parent/grandparent, until I learned he terrorized conservatives as a gay stalking horse. Still, I'm surprised Doritos didn't cross-promote with Barney and Teletubbies (also suspect and returning this year), especially Tinky Winky.

How are conservatives meant to boycott them if they don't sell them any more?
