Maybe you should start by presenting one fact. Then we will go from there.
Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Technicalities aside, it was Illuminati lizard-people that hid the skeletons of giants And then Bigfoot hid the lizard people.

The fact is I don't believe a majority is for gay marriage. Wow, you've gotten really good at shutting your eyes to reality, haven't you? I guess all that practice with photographs of the Grand Canyon really paid off.
However, Christians will not obey such an evil law, however it was manufactured, where it requires a choice between it and the Bible. "Obey" it how? The change in the law was the lifting of a restriction. You might as well say you won't obey the Nineteenth Amendment. You yourself can of course refrain from voting, just as you can refrain from marrying a woman ...

I would like to nominate Theodoric's Message 729 as the most perfect example of PC in this discussion ... I note that you haven't provided any arguments or evidence to suggest that what he wrote isn't actually true.

JonF writes: The Constitution is explicitly the highest law in the land. One of the three highest law of the land. The other two are laws passed by Congress and signed by the President and Treaties. But the Bible is not one of the laws of the land. Plus, as much as Faith might wish it was not true, not all Christians agree just what "God's laws (and according to the Bible God wasn't all that sure herself) happen to be and there really isn't even such a thing as "The Bible".Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

When Donald Trump told his Brown Shirts to throw the Bernie supporters out in the cold and to not even give them their coats, any person with even the moral sense of a tin can should have realized that he is absolutely nothing but a fascist tyrant and that they too could be thrown out in the cold.

One of the three highest law of the land. The other two are laws passed by Congress and signed by the President and Treaties. It is true that federal law is supreme over state and local laws. However, laws passed by Congress are limited by both the constitution and treaties signed by the president. So you are both right. You named the three sources of federal law, and JonF correctly notes that the constitution takes precedence over any source of statutory law. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions? Scott Adams

In the US, the people are begging for it. "Please, please, please take away our freedom to protect us from those terrible outsiders."
The direction of politics is toward totalitarian tyranny.... Faith writes:
As were the Christians and non-Christians who gave sanctuary to Jews. Sometimes the spirit of the law trumps the letter of the law.
Those "Christians" (mostly Catholics) who give sanctuary to illegal aliens are committing a crime.

You can't take the Bible out of context. It is clear from other parts of the Bible that we are to obey God and not man.

You can have any opinions you want. You can almost always voice them. But implementing "biblical law trumps the Constitution" is illegal. If course. We expect to be punished for it by this evil government.

This is an opinion deserving respect? It's okay for Trump to call his detractors stupid, but it is not okay to criticize Trump based on the facts? Never said any such thing. Criticize him all you want, but do it with the facts and stop the PC propaganda namecalling.

As were the Christians and non-Christians who gave sanctuary to Jews. Sometimes the spirit of the law trumps the letter of the law. I can't believe the illogic you will sink to. The Jews were in danger of being murdered, duh. The illegal immigrants are simply doing something illegal.

The illegal immigrants are an essential part of your economy. Their "illegality" is just silly posturing. Are you sure they are not stealing jobs from good old Christian white people, im sure white Christian people would stand in lines for the excellent job of picking onions under the scorching sun 12 hours a day in a bent position for 50 cents an hour. Christianity, One woman's lie about an affair that got seriously out of hand What are the Christians gonna do to me ..... Forgive me, good luck with that.
