Well, what did you expect to happen when we finally convinced her that all her arguments are incorrect and that ours are correct? Lol!! I see what you did there! ROFL!! Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend. Thomas Jefferson Seems to me if its clear that certain things that require ancient dates couldn't possibly be true, we are on our way to throwing out all those ancient dates on the basis of the actual evidence. -- Faith

For now, he will be unable to post in the science forums. It may not seem so, but Bible Inerrancy is a science forum, where at a minimum you ought to be making and responding to arguments based on Bible text. I don't see that Dj's behavior is any better in that group than others. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. I see that that CRR agrees with Faith that Jon's language has been abusive.
In fairness, I think we should note that there are insults being traded in a thread whose entire intent is to accuse left leaning posters of being Marxist. Here is a typical exchange of ideas in that thread: "But Lefties really have no ability to think. That's why it's always all about people and not about the ideologies that tyrannically and murderously seek to rule the world, including their own Marxism." Perhaps in the end, not responding to the "stylings" of a zealot is the first line of defense against such thread. But the chance that any kind of productive exchange is taking place is really remote. Perhaps such stuff should be cut off at the time of Proposing an OP that is little more than a rant. Not really. Faith has every right to post what she believes is necessary and I support strongly her right to do so. I hope she never leaves or feels she cannot post as she believes necessary. Of course! You constitution supporting egalitarian! On the other hand, Faith and Dredge wish that you would exile yourself to Antartica, preferably in the company of some nasty, butt- chewing crocs if at all possible. They don't want to share the upper 48 with lefties. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. I think Faith has a very important role to play. Yep. I think the name for that role is "foil." Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Let's put an end to this idea that Faith expresses hate ideas and not people. That statement of denial is easily exposed using her own words of invective directed towards people. All that's required to earn this kind of enmity is disagreeing with her.
Message 585 Faith writes: I sorely wish there was some way to physically divide the country so that the two sides wouldn't have to put up with the other's politics. I hate you all, you hate me. Message 462 Oh suspend me please. I wish I could make EvC disappear. Message 908 OUGHT TO BE CONVICTED OF HATE SPEECH AND EVEN TREASON AND HUNG UPSIDE DOWN OVER A PIT OF SNAPPING CROCODILES. I pray for this woman. But I don't see the point in debating with her on any topic. Hating people who disagree with you is not rational. Edited by NoNukes, : No reason given. The point is not to let her insane ideas go unchallenged. We've seen from the 2016 election that there are plenty of people who think like she does. There may be a tiny fraction of them who will recognize the insanity if it is exposed. This is a debate group. I don't have any thing bad to say about people who want to debate with Faith. That's what this forum is for. It is my opinion that such debates have little value beyond entertainment. Faith, with great sincerity, believes every single wing nut conspiracy theory any one has ever heard of, every single fundy belief ever expressed. Faith has an excuse for every "excess" of the right, and she sincerely believes in witches and leprechauns. Most exchanges with her eventually lead to blow ups and 100 point font messages full of rage and hatred. Some folks are their own cautionary tale. Their insanity is quite evident. The value of this site is in pointing out the idiocy of young-earthism and its ilk. At some point, having a dozen or so folks pointing out the self-documenting idiocy of a single poster does not seem valuable; at least to me. In my opinion, remarkably few folks would need any help seeing where most of this wing-nut crap departs from being rational if we just let Faith's post stand without comment. I don't think the world needs saving from Faith. But that's just one man's opinion. I certainly don't expect everyone to subscribe to it. Maybe I'm just bored because this shit is too easy. "The whole point of the proposed threads forum is so you can point out any issues you might have with that post before it gets sent to regular discussion."
Only the moderator is allowed to respond to thread proposals in that forum. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison.
