Question. Hitler demonized minority groups to create an us vs them mentality among the German people. Which minority groups did Obama demonize?

Why does the demonized group have to be a "minority?" Amazingly you can even oppress a majority by using the reins of power as is being done by the Left today. The Supreme Court is certainly pushing the majority around these days. Conservatives have certainly been demonized for decades now by the Left who so adored Obama. We've been demonized and shut up and called names, which is very much in evidence on this very thread. That's why it makes me happy to see Trump able to shout down all that instead of caving in to it.
Meanwhile I recommend absorbing the fact that Obama is being worshiped as a god in those videos above, and you won't see anything like that with Trump. If even a hint of that occurs I'll be the first to condemn it. Edited by Faith, : No reason given. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

Partner and I are on vacation in Florida keys. I have a lot to say about this. Will say so when I don't have to type everything on my iPhone. You know, when I get back home.

I have a lot to say about this.... when I get back home. That's fine, but let's not forget that Obama did attract actual worship -- Message 1186 -- and people putting him in the place of God, and I don't see that with Trump in the slightest. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

Since I first mentioned Hitler I guess I'll comment.
The parallels I see for Obama are with Jimmy Carter. The parallels I see for Trump are as a political campaigner, and so the comparisons are with the periods of Mussolini's and Hitler's rise to power. That would be to the Mussolini of the late 19-teens and early 1920's, and to the Hitler of the early 1930's. The parallels wouldn't be notable except that Trump's dictatorial tendencies are so obvious. Does anyone ever win an argument with Trump? His approach is to ignore facts, call those who disagree names, make unsupported claims and counter charges, then do as he pleases. He thrives on chaos. With each outrageous statement leaving the opposition (his fellow Republican candidates) in wonder, confusion and disarray, Trump just marches on toward the nomination. He's single-handedly brought the Republican debates down to a 6th grade playground level. --Percy Edited by Percy, : Grammar.

Couldn't have described the current attacks on Trump more accurately. I'm sure you couldn't. Practically anyone else could, but describing things accurately is, as we know, not your forte.

Actually it was Trump that first brought up and in fact adopted the comparison between himself and Mussolini in his famous "Build a Wall" speech. He also compared himself to another famous Fascist dictator; Generalissimo Franco.
Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Donald Trump Looks To Newtown Shooting Truther For Help Winning Florida
Donald Trump may not want David Duke's support, but he's got no problem with an endorsement from a Sandy Hook truther. Trump called the endorsement from Rev. Carl Gallups a "great honor." The Florida pastor has referred to the murder of 26 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School as a "hoax" and claimed that the father of one of the murdered children was an actor hired to further President Barack Obama's gun control efforts. "He was dragged before the nation by Obama after the Newtown school shooting, supposedly, Sandy Hook, and played the part of a grieving father with a woman standing beside him crying, slinging snot, carrying on," he said on WEBY, according to Media Matters. Back in January, Gallups headlined a major Trump rally. Well, that'll help shore up his core constituency of paranoid lunatics.

How about the editor's note on the article?
quote: Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. I'm not that crazy about Trump that I love defending him, but I really do hate the lies people tell about him and that keeps me doing it. The editor's note could have been written by leftists at EvC:
Editor's note: Donald Trump is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist, birther and bully who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims -- 1.6 billion members of an entire religion -- from entering the U.S He may be a bully, but "serial liar?" And all the rest of the terms are lies, especially the one about pledging to "BAN" all Muslims, without mentioning that he said UNTIL THEY CAN BE INVESTIGATED. AND LET ME POINT OUT: there is some kind of in*sane policy that wants us to take Muslims and NOT let us have the CHRISTIAN refugees who would be more compatible with our culture and FOR SURE aren't going to wreak jihad on us or rape Christian women. WHAT KIND OF CONSPIRACY IS THIS ANYWAY? Just the usual Leftist hate-America PC bullying, speaking of bullying. Edited by Faith, : No reason given. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

To me, the value of Trump is that he's a person in America showing that the word "Conservatism" does not necessarily equal the words "Fundy religious extremism".
A person in America can be Conservative, yet not a religious fundie, or not be religious at all. Yet, still conservative. Unlike what the Teabaggers, such as Cruz, tend to claim. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.
