I will have to rethink my position on that.

Re: Things Ted Cruz Doesn't Know
His mother was American, so constitutional lawyers feel that would qualify him for being a 'natural born citizen'. This, however, has not gone through the Supreme Court, so while that has probably true, a case might change that. I personally think it should be challenged and go through that supreme court just to put that issue to bed. This issue has nothing to do with my personal dislike of Cruz, but to settle the issue, so the campaigns can deal iwth the issues rather than a distraction.

Two more people joining the fray. Rick Santorum and George Pataki both jumped in. Santorum , the less said the better, and no, an ex -governor from NY will not have a chance.

Re: Gov of NY
Martin Van Buren was a Senator , but the rest at one point or other were governors.
Pataki, looking at it, is probably the most sane of any of the Republican candidates out there.

Re: Government is not a business and you can't run it like one
yes, there is a web site out there than makes all sorts of claims.
It makes a claim about that debt. It has a bunch of counters that have been loaded up iwth a start number, and just let go, and has been going on for the last 10 years.
Can you show that those number, are.. well accurate?

Re: Government is not a business and you can't run it like one
You do know that the budget in 2009 was decided on in the year 2008, which makes it a bush budget. The one that will be decided on in for 2017 will be an Obama budget.
Another thing that is not discussed is that under Obama, the cost of the war in Afganistan in Iraq was accounted for, while under Bush, it was 'off the books', funded by borrowing from the Social security fund (to a total of 1.3 trillion , which has not been repaid).

And , just to show how out of step some of the republican candidates are, Rand Paul is going to see Clive Bundy, that thief that is grazing on government property without paying the required grazing fee. Rand Paul tweeted you can be discriminated against by the color of your skin or by your ideology. i wonder when becoming a thief was an ideology. And, considering the racist comments Clive Bundy has made, I wonder if Rand Paul really thought his 'outreach' to African americans out well.

Re: Donald Trump is a Democratic plot to make GOP look stupid
The only problem with that is that the Republican do that all by themselves.
