What we actually said is that the Government is also charged to provide for the public welfare. The way that is done is by using the resources of the many and directing to resources towards solving particular needs. One such is to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, protect the weak, heal the sick and one of the tools Government uses for that includes the power of eminent domain. That allows a Government to appropriate private property for public use while providing compensation.
In most cases the person whose property gets appropriated feels the compensation is inadequate. Yup. That does happen.
However it is not stealing. It is not illegal. It is a power that we the citizens have given to governments to carry out the task of providing for the public good.
Whether is is easements or right of way or hotel rooms or most anything else is irrelevant. Whether the people whose property is appropriated feel adequately compensated is irrelevant. There are even processes in place to allow the individual to appeal the issue of compensation.

The man was not forced to give up his hotel, the was forced to rent room at a price he did not like and it was done lawfully and for a societal reason.

Except of course for the fact that reality shows you are simply spouting nonsense. Muslims live all over the world, even Thank God, in the US and there is absolutely no evidence that they rape, riot, burn cars and murder us as often as Christians rape, riot, burn cars and murder us or try to take over the government as often as Christians try to take over the government.

Yes, I've thought that Muslim families ought to adopt Christian families as one solution to the problems I've been talking about and wherever that's feasible I would hope many would, but I don't know how feasible it is. I suspect that any attempt to teach them the Glorious Qur'an would be strenuously opposed by the Right too.

Roman Catholics do NOT try to help immigrants circumvent the laws. That is simply another example of your sources being liars.

I'm living in the area where il Donald wants to build his stupid wall. Let me tell you something about the reality.
People cross the border for many reasons but the North bound traffic is almost all a movement towards safety. It really is that simple but there are a whole bunch of folk that really need help and Christian Churches including the Roman Catholics provide much of that.
What the Roman Catholic Church provides are things I would think EVERY Christian would support:
food
shelter
clothing
medical care
safety
comfort
you know, the stuff Jesus said was our duty to do. You have heard of Jesus haven't you?
Yes, the RCC as well as all the organization that are trying to do what Jesus command us to do, what Jesus told Peter to do, also do direct immigrants to legal help to learn their rights as well as their responsibilities. Are you saying that their legal rights under the law should not be protected?
Or are you saying they do not have any rights?

I actually pointed out specific lies in the quotes you attribute to the man. This is exactly what happened in the election.
You have said Trump said things you wanted to hear.
And that is actually true; Trump said what people wanted to hear. He lied. He lied repeatedly. He continues to lie. He continues to misrepresent reality. BUT he tells the lies you and many others wanted to hear.
This election was a reality show. It had nothing to do with honesty, truth or reality but instead was simply Carny Con-Man spiel. It was "Come see the Freak Show" and they came. And they elected the Freak.

Jesus said feed the hungry. Immigrants get hungry.
Jesus said clothe the naked. Many immigrants show up with only the clothes they are wearing.

Jesus said comfort the sorrowful. Many immigrants are sorrowful.
Jesus said heal the sick. Many immigrants are sick.
Where is the violation of any moral law in doing just what Jesus told us to do?
Is Vatican City a sovereign state? Does the Roman Catholic Church recognize that Vatican City has borders?
This really is the issue and it is really the issue in this election.

il Donald told people what they wanted to hear. But what he is doing is something else. he is NOT cleaning house but rather simply gathering all the same folk that have been the system for decades.
I can remember the US before the Clean Air Act, before the EPA; a time when you could at least see the air you breathed, watch the rivers burn, abandon towns as fire swept beneath them, see the lintheads dying from working in the cotton mills, see the billboard at the edge of town that said "Nigger, don't let the sun set on you here" and was signed by the Sheriff.
I remember what it was like before the Southern Baptists took a public stand supporting decriminalization of abortion and moving abortion from dank cellars into clean medical facilities.
I remember when separate but equal meant no paved roads or water or sewer and schools without books or light bulbs or heating.
I remember when folks were sure the Pope would take over the country is a Roman Catholic was elected and I hope that I will live long enough to see a Muslim elected President of the US.
