I give Ron Paul 1 chance in a million of getting the Republican nomination... and that might be too high.

No. .. not all rape victims are women.
On the other hand, there are no male rape victims that got pregnant because of being raped. If you know of one, I would love to see the medical reports on that.

Re: The Creationist Wi
While not all tea party people are racist, a large majority of them are.
There is evidence.

You mean, a temporary tax cut expired, and was not renewed. You didn't jump up and down for joy when it was instituted under Obama, but you sure complained when it expired and was not renewed.

Re: Rallier tells Obama to 'put the Quran down
One thing I will point out, the organizers for the Million vet march , on their facebook page, made the following statement.
It is our official position that the purpose of this march and the accompanying rallies is focused on the re-opening of the Veterans memorials and keeping them open. While we understand that a Constitutional republic requires the equilibrium of checks and balances to maintain the democratic process, the memorials, monuments and parks built in honor of Veterans should NEVER be closed, blocked or restricted from use. We take the official position that no government office holder shall have ability to abridge the freedom of access to these hallowed grounds.
We have, as a group, been prevented from certain groups that have piggy-backed off our grassroots efforts, to effectively create a comprehensive media message campaign. We made the mistake of trying to partner with some Washington insiders that thwarted many of our genuine concerns for keeping this apolitical and grassroots. While we support many of those groups common causes for Veterans, we do not support the manner in which they go about it. We chose instead to not incite or create panic.
We chose to listen to all Americans and all Veterans that have asked us to keep going on despite the disingenuous politicians, political action committees, talking heads on the televisions and press reports attempting to hijack the message. This included many threats of personal and political attacks on our group’s character, businesses, colleagues and our true intentions. While our hearts were heavy by the disheartening acts of a few powerful Washington elite and political extremists jumping on the opportunity to make money, we decided to stay true to our message of a non-partisan effort to assist Veterans.
In other words, Cruz , Palin and Company HIJACKED the event without much a say so.

Re: How I learned to stop worrying and default...
Some members of the Tea Party are racist. Some are not. It seems inaccurate to identify the Tea Party as a racist organization when racism is not a prerequisite of membership, racist policies are not among the stated goals of the organization, and the organization has supported black candidates in the past.
I think this is vastly oversimplifying the situation. While there are some tea party members who are racist, and others who are not... if you look at the makeup of the party, the percentage of members of the Tea Party who are very vocal racists is much higher than the general population. I think the reason is that both racists and conservatives tend to be much more susceptible to fear tactics, and the negative 'the world is being destroyed ' message is the one the tea party buys into.
So, while the tea party might not be a racist organization per say, because of the fear tactics that it employs, it attracts a higher percentage of people who ARE racist.

Re: Why isn't there a Tea Party standing in elections? form
Cory Booker made a lot of missteps in the election.. and some of the actions I don't consider quite ethical (even though his is much better than was his opposition).
He has to improve his behavior.

Re: Using liberal logic
Alas, From my perspective, the democrats ARE the 1990 republicans. I would like to see the tea party eliminated, and the moderate Republicans be the republican party, so the democrats can act like democrats.

Well, let me relay some of the things that occurred to my family , that I have personal experience with, that the ACA has done.
My sister has an expensive medication. She needs to for arthritis to help her keep walking. The insurance company limited her to a 3 month supply, which would have eventually put her in a wheel chair. That medication cap became illegal, and she can get her full supply of medicaiton so she can keep on walking.
My niece could stay on their insurance after she graduated college. Right after graduated, she got run over by a truck (just her leg, but mack trucks are big).
No broken bones (amazingly.. the truck started up at the crosswalk illegally).. but my niece had to be in the hospital, and to get 3 separate operations for draining, skin grafts etc etc etc. She would have been in debt for many 10's of thousands of dollars , if she wasn't covered under my sisters insurance.
It might not have effected you .. yet.. but, it certainly has done my family lots and lots of good. (the insurance for my sister is cheaper this year too).

Who said it was a 'pain control substance'. It, actually, is a biogenic. It is not a narcotic. It is a once a week shot.
I have to say you are so full of it that it is unbelieveable.
