The Right Side of the News

The question is not about Leftist ideology. The question I have is about Right-wing conservative ideology. WWJD? Would Jesus approve of living in a prosperous free society or would He say that his people were being misled through seduction vs oppression and that both ideologies were at odds with Him?

Well I cant believe that it was all drummed up out of thin air. Mueller may be ideologically different from Trump but he appears to have integrity. At best he may be guilty of personal obsession in order to make a mark for himself in the world.

I consider all media. I don't consciously pick sides. This gets back to Source vs Content. I don't hunt for the right source. I consider the content of several media presentations. Are you saying that I ignore the conservative POV?

This whole proclamation about *knowing* that something is true is as offensive to other Christians as it likely is to unbelievers. I firmly believe that God gave us a brain, but He didn't simply preload it with divine intuition. If He did, why am I not knowing the same things you are knowing?We live in a world of competing ideologies. The war that we are presently in, what I call spiritual war, is a war of ideologies. When you stick to the Bible and scripture you are harder to refute and I find myself agreeing with you most of the time, but when you go off into politics, I feel as if you jump on the secular bandwagon of conservatism and believe the sound bites that the radio tells you over and over again.I even question the apologists, so I see no reason why you wouldn't question the conservative sources as much as you do the liberal ones unless you believe that the liberals are evil and that the conservatives all love jesus. (which they dont...most of them dont even know Him)

I'm not pro-Trump, but I have reason to question your pronouncement. It seems too incredulous to me. I believe that the adversaries have a card or two up their sleeves. At worst, he likely will tie it all up in court long enough to die before sentencing.

You really need to quit drinking. What is it about Faith that makes you unable to stop the personal attacks on her? We all know she is the way she is. Why does this disturb you so much? I looked for clues in your Creation/Evolution Home Page and found that you had some bad experiences with dishonest creationists. Apparently you think Faith is also dishonest. Try and stick with the argument itself and don't make it so personal with her. She is not going to change anytime soon.

The main reason I don't hate liberalism is that without it, I would have no labor union and would be at the mercy of a corporation's determination of my market value as an individual laborer. This would likely push me back down into entry-level wage territory. Thus I see a need for people to collectively organize against the inherent greed (they would call it market efficiency) of big business.Critics would tell me to find another job. I am all for social security, however. I'm 60 years old and not too strong physically. One good thing about some moderate liberalism is that it allows us to collectively use our brains rather than bowing to the cold laws of free-market capitalism.

Faith does get stuck in defensive mode at times, and I think she gets a bit of a kick out of the fact that she is frustrating some of her critics rather than the more usual scenario whereby they frustrate her.Regarding the title of this topic, I would think that in order to get the best handle on the truth within media, one should peruse several news sources and mix them up as to their Rightwing or Leftwing bent. Get the whole picture rather than just the parts that we like. What do you think, Theo?

Perhaps in the interests of fair and balanced, we should be left sometimes also.
We could thus say to be right but be nice...and be left yet be deft.Surely every left-winger in America isn't frothing at the mouth with evil! And by the same token, not every right-winger is willfully ignorant, (unless they are already wealthy! )

I will agree that it all should come out but have serious reservations as to whether it will change anyone's preconceived political beliefs and specifically change their minds about Mr.Trump. That is assuming they have anything on him. I know one thing--if the Democrats fail to present a good case they will have done as good as lose the next election. I trust the integrity of the Senate to a point, and I believe that if it gets as far as there, whatever they collectively decide will be as honest as a group of Politicians can be.

Eulogy of Elijah CummingsNote Hillary. She uses the whole "God" thing to continue her political ideology of Christian Nationalism. Thus, all politicians of either Right or Left Ideology could be said to use Christian Nationalism as a talking point. I sense more honesty from Obama and Clinton(Bill) than I do from Trump. Maybe I am biased, I dunno.

This secular humanist whom I have been listening to lately has a podcast that talks about Trump. 433: Should it worry me that the government is demonizing secular people? It's a really good civil debate.

I had to look up "Constitutionalism. OK I think I get it. Constitutionalists are kinda like voluntary extensions of congress. My only problem with that (sounds a bit like the ultra-conservative tea party) is that too many constitutionalists are of the same political ideology. In order for the concept to work, one would need constitutionalists representing both political parties. Which is essentially what we have now, though the liberal constitutionalists are known as activists.

I was talking with one of my conservative friends today. He mentioned that on December 11th, a bombshell testimony was going to be a game-changer in the trump investigations yet he predicts it will be all but ignored by the Media. Does anyone know what he is talking about?
