Did your post explain the earlier reports? If it did then I'm sorry I didn't read it through, it just looked like somebody else's report and the first one was also from someone in the room. Sorry. I'm just preoccupied with other things.

OK, now I've read the article and to me it's not the definitive answer at all, it's one guy's interpretation of what the shooter was doing. He may be right or he may not be. I think it just leaves it up in the air for now.

This is a fallen world, we do all kind of things that are not in God's will in the sense I mean it above. But your comment is a non sequitur anyway since it's not about prayer. As I was saying Christians don't pray enough in the right way about the right issues. I

His will isn't that hard to figure out. Pray constantly, obey His commands, love your neighbor, love your enemies. If a nation is being destroyed from within it's because it's disobeying God, but Christians also have to be right with God and often we aren't. "Thin the herd" isn't something that would ever be in God's will.

If you aim to be sarcastic, it helps to be sarcastic about the relevant topic.

Oh, I was.The topic I was sarcastic about was your delusion that your prayers will bring about useful changes in gun violence in our country. You seem to imply that your god and Jesus are pro-gun and second amendment.

The topic had become more general than the gun issue but as far as that goes we should pray against the gun violence that's been increasing in the country over the last few decades, nobody supports that, but it is certainly being used in the campaign against the second amendment. The gun violence is the result of cultural changes, not the second amendment. None of it pertinant. Give us real world evidence that prayers always work, as was your claim.

The fact of the drugs remains important in my opinion, what was debunked was merely my suggestion about how to make use of the information. Other ideas are welcome.
