Switzerland
Here's wikipedia. List of countries by firearm-related death rate. Note that Switzerland has over eleven times the death rate of the UK.
Of course the downside to wikipedia is that unlike your source it can't tell me about how the dinosaurs were killed off by a nuclear war between two species of aliens; but I feel that what Wikipedia lacks in color and excitement it makes up for in credibility.

Re: 9 dead in SC
Hi Larni, thanks for a few civil questions. Have you ever done a search on "world history of gun control"? If you do, here's a list you'll find word for word on many different websites, and I don't think it's because it's copied and repeated, it's because it's basically true;
Well, apart from the false bits. If you learn one thing this week, it should be that you need reputable sources. No more websites about aliens and lizard people, OK? Just 'cos you read something on the internet and you wish it was true that doesn't mean that it is.

Do you have any arguments that do not rely on logical fallacies and equivocation?
Sure he does. He also has arguments that rely on false premises.

Re: 9 dead in SC
I was expecting to see a "summary only" requirement by this time, and I wouldn't mind that, but this phase is still fun, for me anyway, for all my frantic opponents, I'm not so sure.
Yeah, when we're driven to pointing out that the dinosaurs weren't killed off by space aliens with nukes, you've clearly got us on the ropes.

And, for whatever reason, the U.S. citizenry and government loves its guns and ammo. I don't fully understand it, and like me, I'll bet you can't understand why the U.S. government needs billions of rounds of hollow point ammo for target practice. I guess vaporizing a target would be much more fun than just punching holes in it like conventional ammo would, but it wouldn't be as accurate in determining the skill of the shooter.
Some facts. This seems particularly relevant:
DHS components generally use the same type of ammunition for training and
qualification as they use for duty (operational use). According to DHS, this is because
delivering and storing different types of ammunition for training and operational use
creates complex logistical challenges, and could create an officer safety issue if the wrong
ammunition is used in the field.
But I would still like to know: if you deny that they are practicing with the bullets that they buy, with what bullets are they practicing? Do they have a top secret source of practice bullets? Or are they not practicing, but just hoping that if they ever need to actually shoot their guns they'll just wing it?

Re: Bizarro is in the minds of the gun control people
Bizarro World here for sure, in the minds of the anti-gun people. Just because the possibility of government tyranny is a major reason for the second amendment doesn't mean anybody imagines taking on an army should it be mobilized against the people.
So what exactly do you have in mind? We can use guns to protect our liberties ... from a rowdy bunch of Congressmen armed with water-balloons?

Re: 9 dead in SC: a racist act but God brings good out of evil
The U.S. really is the policeman of the world ...
In that it's trigger-happy, racist, and has shot a lot of innocent people?
Maybe we could try being the good cop now.

Re: 9 dead in SC
But enough of all that, how would a total gun ban be implemented?
By vast armies of straw men.

Re: BBC World News
Europe just doesn't have a mass volume of mass shootings.
Yes, but Europe is ruled by King George III. Mass shootings are the price we pay for liberty.

He is also notable for murdering his children with a gun.
He then attempted suicide, but missed.

John Reno
More words of wisdom from the Internet on the subject of the Sandy Hook massacre.
Can you guess what sort of weapon the author used to kill his fiancee, her brother, and himself?

Re: Man shoots self while taking selfie
A 19-year-old Houston man, a day ahead of starting community college, accidentally killed himself Tuesday while taking selfies with a gun, police said.
"Taking selfies with a gun"? Well, I think I see where he went wrong.

Re: Prayer works if you do it right
My prayers get answers very frequently, especially prayers for theological understanding, or knowledge in general. And lately I've been praying for God's love toward my enemies, including you all here, because I have so little of it, and He's actually answered, even for the hardest ones here for me to love.
And yet you still describe us as your "enemies".
